MyELT is an online learning management system for delivering National Geographic Learning’s digital products for English Language Teaching (ELT) as a second and as a foreign language. It allows teachers to deploy content such as assessment exams, digital workbook activities, speaking labs, practice TOEFL and TOEIC certification exams, and grammar courses.
In early 2006, Compro became the exclusive engineering partner for the complete design and development of the platform. In December 2006, we released the first version, which was followed by a series of extensions and upgrades.
Compro delivered multiple key products to the market, including English without Borders, ELTeach, TOEFL iBT, and My Idioma. In 2007, we extended the platform with a unique online speech recognition engine based on the TOEFL curriculum in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon Research.
